Refund policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

A return or exchange is only available for faulty items and store credit will only be given when a replacement item is not available. 

CULTKA must be notified of an intention to return or exchange an item/s no later than one week after the item/s delivery date. Please contact CULTKA strictly within this timeframe to ensure we can assist you. 

Courier charges are non-refundable, this includes the cost of shipping the item/s to you, and the cost of the return shipping and any associated administration fees. 

Please ensure returned items are in the original packaging, unassembled and in unused/unmarked condition. All packaging is custom made to each item. If original packaging is not provided, an extra fee will be applied to cover costs. If an item/s is not packaged correctly CUTLKA has the right not to accept the return or exchange.  

All our pieces are fragile and heavy, this means they can easily be damaged in transit. It is the sender's responsibility to ensure the item is returned in undamaged condition. 

All sale and discounted items are final sale. Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange. 

REFUNDS

CULTKA does not offer refunds for ‘change of mind’. A refund will not be given in any case and the issuing of store credit for returned items, will be at the discretion of CULTKA. 

PRE-ORDERS

All of our pieces are handcrafted in limited quantities. Each item purchased on pre-order is made especially for you and reserved in our shipment. For this reason, we ask that you choose carefully as we cannot offer a refund on pre-ordered items.

Occasionally, delays can occur and we appreciate your patience. We promise your beautiful CULTKA piece is well worth the wait! In the unlikely circumstance that the delay exceeds 60 days we may consider a refund or store credit upon request. This will be at the complete discretion of CULTKA. 

RECEIVING DAMAGED GOODS

It is the customers responsibility to check all items immediately upon receiving them.If your order was received damaged in transit please email hello@cultka.com with the following information:

  • A clear description of the damage
  • Supporting photographs of the damage to the item
  • Clear image of the packaging including shipping label

This information must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the items. Failure to report any damages within this timeframe may void any transit insurance for your goods and therefore a resolution may not be provided.

All damaged goods will be required to be returned to us with the original packaging. If the original packaging has been disposed of we may be unable to proceed with your claim.

If your order has visible mishandling to the packaging please refuse it and do not accept the delivery from the driver. This will prompt the courier to return the goods to the closest depot for resolution.

DAMAGES

Please use all images on our website as a guide only, as these may not replicate your order.

A handcrafted natural material such as leather or cowhide may come with slight imperfections and this is a sign of beautiful craftsmanship. Not all blemishes and imperfections should be treated as a manufacturing fault. 

CULTKA is not liable should any damages occur in the handling of the product so it is very important to be mindful and take care when handling these pieces as they can be heavy and fragile.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All CULTKA items come with a 12-month warranty that excludes general fair wear and tear. Any structural issues will be covered under your warranty and CULTKA will determine if the issue is best resolved via a repair or replacement. 

To lodge a warranty request please take clear photos of the damaged item and send with your proof of purchase to hello@cultka.com
