CULTKA is a new mid-century furniture company with a growing online concept store, specialising in unique, timeless and interesting pieces such as Furniture, Art and homewares. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator in a permanent part-time role at our head office in Byron bay or Gold Coast. Starting with 16 hours per week (across two or three days), there is opportunity for the role to expand.

Reporting to our passionate founder, you’ll be responsible for developing and scheduling engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. You’ll also be in charge of writing captivating and optimized product descriptions for our growing B2C channel.

The Role involves:

• Developing creative social media content across Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
• Scheduling and posting weekly social posts using Latergram or other 
• Moderating and replying to comments
• Monthly reporting of social media metrics
• Writing engaging SEO optimized product descriptions and content for our online store
• Driving our social media audience
• Staying up to date on social media trends, identifying and suggesting opportunities to grow our brand and social audience

About You:

• A passion for all things Social, eCommerce and Marketing
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or proven experience with marketing and social
• 2+ years’ experience in social media or marketing
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills, previous experience of copywriting 
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Experience with Shopify is highly regarded
• Team player with ability to also work independently
• Experience in a range of marketing tools an advantage – Google Ads, FB Ads, SEO and email marketing
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred but not essential.
